The following are established chain hotels around BJTU, covering the South Gate, East Gate and Xizhimen areas.

Booking tips:Book 1–2 weeks ahead during semester openings, conference seasons and holidays. For South Gate, Qiuguo (opposite gate) is best; for East Gate, Home Inn Business / Qiuguo Select; for budget, Hanting.

2. Transportation

2.0 Final leg to the South Gate (common to all routes)

Regardless of origin, Xizhimen Station is the key transfer hub.

Subway connection: Xizhimen serves Lines 2 / 4 / 13. Exit A → at "Xizhimen Subway Station" bus stop take Bus 16 / 26 / 305, 2 stops to "Beijing Jiaotong University Station" → South Gate.
Walking: ~20-min walk from Xizhimen along Gao Liang Qiao Road to the South Gate.
Other nearby stations: Dazhongsi (Line 13, ~11–16 min walk), National Library (Line 4, ~14 min), Weigongcun (Line 4, ~13 min).

2.1 From the Airports

2.1.1 Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK)

Subway: Airport Express → Dongzhimen → transfer to Line 2 → Xizhimen (Exit A) → Bus 16/26/305 to BJTU Station. ~1.5 hrs, ~¥30.
Taxi: ~30–35 km, 40–50 min, ~¥80–100.

2.1.2 Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX)

Subway: Daxing Airport Line → Caoqiao → transfer to Line 19 → Jishuitan → transfer to Line 2 → Xizhimen (Exit A) → Bus 16/26/305 to BJTU Station. ~1.5 hrs, ~¥45.
Alternative: Line 19 to Beitaipingzhuang (Exit A) → Bus 16 directly to BJTU Station.
Taxi: ~55–60 km, ~70 min, ~¥120–150.

2.2 From High-Speed Rail Stations

Among Beijing HSR stations,Beijing North (Beijingbei)is closest to BJTU (on the Beijing–Zhangjiakou HSR, adjacent to Xizhimen). Beijing West and Beijing South are the two major HSR hubs; their routes are listed too.

2.2.1 Beijing North Railway Station (closest, ~2.3 km)

Bus: From Xizhimen take Bus 16 / 26 / 305 to BJTU Station (South Gate).
Taxi: ~2.3 km, 10 min, ~¥13–20.

2.2.2 Beijing West Railway Station

Subway:Line 9 → National Library → transfer to Line 4 → Xizhimen (Exit A) → Bus 16/26/305 to BJTU Station.
Taxi: ~10 km, ~30 min, ~¥30.

2.2.3 Beijing South Railway Station

Subway:Line 4 → Xizhimen (Exit A) → Bus 16/26/305 to BJTU Station; or ~20-min walk to South Gate.
Taxi: ~16 km, ~40 min, ~¥30–60.
