IFIP International Conference on Intelligent Information Processing (IFIP IIP)

On August 21, 2000, the 16th World Computer Congress (WCC2000) was ceremoniously opened at the Beijing International Convention Center. The development of information technology enables human beings to excavate and make use of the huge information resources hidden in the material movement. Information resources have become as important as material resources, and their important role is increasing day by day. In order to meet the requirements of information processing in the information age, the current information processing technology is developing in the direction of intelligence. From the carrier of information to all links of information processing, it widely simulates human intelligence to process all kinds of information. Intelligent information processing is a cutting-edge interdisciplinary subject in computer science and an application-oriented comprehensive discipline. Its goal is to deal with massive and complex information and study new and advanced theories and technologies. Intelligent information processing research covers many levels, such as basic research, application basic research, key technology research and application research. It not only has high theoretical research value, but also is of great significance to the development of the national information industry and even the whole social and economic construction and development.

According to the needs of social development and scientific research, IFIP proposed a conference on Intelligent Information Processing and held the first International Conference on Intelligent Information Processing.
